Understanding color's impact helps designers create environments that enhance mood and productivity, or conversely, cause discomfort if misused. Also, this could just be a little controversial but sometimes the colours which we naturally feel a sense of peace/calmness around - may take a toll on us when used an unhealthy amount of times.
